『Love, Maxie』

On your way out from work, you stumble upon a moderately-sized box sitting on the sidewalk, trenched in snow. Curiosity gets the better of you, and you peek inside... only to find a lonely, cold and afraid dark-furred cat, shivering.

"Please, will you give me a home?"

He said to you. Your heartstrings thoroughly tugged, you decide to take the poor creature away from the biting cold and into your home, where you start to care for him. You decide to name him Maxie and he fondly embraces his new name, deciding to help you back, in his turn...

A little too helpful, in fact, is what he proves to be... and soon it feels like you have a walking, talking, furry little butler, always at your service.

"You saved my life, Master! I'd do anything for you!"

But something about this cat feels strange, mysterious. What he says and does feels like more than just repaying a debt, and you're certain he's hiding something from you, something important...

But what? And what can you do about it? He just seems so sweet... But is Maxie really what he seems?
