After a long journey through the CORE, Frisk reaches the end, but after finding a cryptic note from their friend and robot celebrity, Mettaton, worries begin to take hold. It's just a simple "I'm Sorry," fresh out of his vending machines. But why? Did Undyne brainwash him? Is it all a sick joke? Part of a show? And will they survive the superstar's killer season finale?

You've played it on Scratch (possibly), now enjoy a fully remastered version of Rise, Mettaton SPIRAL!, a fully playable adaptation of Inverted Fate's Mettaton battle. Now in Undertale resolution, with presentation polishes and additional features, enjoy revisiting the battle that kickstarted a new era fro the Inverted Fate AU! Q: Is this an official battle?

Yes! I worked directly with Philip to make this fight as accurate to the comic as possible.

Q: How do I play?

Download the html file and open it in your browser. It's that simple!

Q: I don't understand these new mechanics. How do they work?

Blaster mode lets you use a few different weapon types that you can fire with z. It's there for comic-accuracy, and if you want a fight built around it, just hang tight until we get to the Mad Mew Mew port! The new SOUL mode, cyan, can be controlled with arrows for movement and WASD for aiming. Either space or Z fire the beam. This mode can also be switched to azerty controls.

Q: Why port from Scratch?

We want to present the fights in the best quality possible, and using the Sheeptester mod allows us to not only revamp these games in UT resolution but gives us access to more features, while HTML5 allows people a more streamlined playing experience.

Q: Why does Frisk talk? Why is Chara good?

Frisk talks because this is Inverted Fate, and their character being more fleshed out is an important part of the AU. This AU also operates on narrator theory, which is why Chara is more benevolent- a genocide run never happened in the previous timeline. Also, Frisk calls Chara cap as a nickname- it's short for Captain Cryptic, annnnd the menu uses Chara's name because that's how it was in UT, too.

Q: Who does Mettaton swap with?

No one. Inverted Fate doesn't swap a majority of its cast- just the six main monsters. Any other changes are a result of the choices made by those who do swap culminating and affecting the rest of the world. This AU has nothing to do with Underswap.

Q: Is there Genocide?

No, but there is an alternate ending if you use FIGHT and an alternate game mode you can unlock.

Q: Can I use your sprites or music? What about gameplay videos?

You may not reupload our music or art on your own channels unless its use is TRANSFORMATIVE. For instance, speedpaints, fandubs, commentaries, and the like are acceptable uses. Straight up reuploads or "all themes" videos are not.
