Such a great totally playable game!!!
The outdated tileset of the forest/cave zone is actually good.
Like the battle system so far.
A lot of potential in jump/wind mechanics in overworld.
Pressing space should allow jump ngl.

Being quite honest, this game to be a trial version has a lot to offer and I'm sure it is going in a good direction, good luck and I will look forward to the full game =)
as a mario & luigi and a undertale/deltarune fan i fucking loved this fangame

Depper Jar is an anthology turn-based RPG with fast QTE-based Battles and different game modes. Fight goofy enemies, jump over all the scenario, time your attacks right, you better know what's your next action command!
The whole game is divided into multiple modes called "Tests". They all share the same gameplay elements but with their own ideas, scenarios and identity
There's currently only one game mode avaliable, Test 1, you can play it right now in the 1.6.0 update of the game!
Different game modes with their own features, zones, characters and even extra bonus challenges!
Interact with the overworld using actions like jumping or cutting with a sword!
Fast QTE-based battles inspired by Mario & Luigi, Paper Mario and Undertale. Step on foes by pressing the action command before landing!
Upcoming features:
Expanded Battle system: Play with two characters at the same time sharing turns if their attacks are the same, do Stylish moves, use your STAR points to do more powerful attacks!
Charms: Equip unique battle attacks or effects to your characters!
I'm currently working on the second game mode which includes this and more content, still, Test 1 is already avaliable, so, if you haven't yet, go check it out!
