Random Slaughtermap Generator 2.0
Random Slaughtermap Generator 2.0 is a revamped procedural map generator mod for Gzdoom that makes totally improved levels done with a different system, the portals method... This allows me to place prefabs in a map, and join them in random orders with scripting using portals and spawn items/weapons/monsters in them to produce a level that has a different layout and enemy placement every time....
Unlike 1.0 this mod is much much better looking now and has much better features, including better use of slopes, detail. height variation, stairs and more.... It also features brutal randomized slaughter combat which is totally unfair at times... This can make any map anywhere from piss easy to almost impossible... Once you beat a map you return to the same map with a different layout and monster placement and can play infinite amount of maps in it...
Enemy encounters are partially randomized, partially static. Enemies in hallways are always the same, but enemies in rooms are always randomized. Enemies from Zombiemen to archviles are used in hordes in this mod.... Mancubi and Arachnotrons are much rarer and only spawn in one place and are not randomized...
I suggest playing on easy for the first time. This mod can be challenging...

unzip to your doom 2 folder and run rsg2.bat to play a randomized techbase or rsg2urban.bat to play a randomized city level, or rsg2hell.bat to play a randomized hellish map...
