-so underated as hell
The teasers look very good and you can see the talent behind this game but what seems strange to me is that not many people know this game which becomes strange due to how good the teasers look and that it can be a very good fangame, this project is very underrated
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, THIS GAME IS BEING MADE FOR ROBLOX, A STAND ALONE BUILD IS UNLIKELY AT THE TIME.
During the summer of '88 the once-beloved family restaurant "The Showtime Theatre" is set to reopen it's doors after it's almost year-long closure following the disappearance of one of its founders. As a fresh-faced security guard, you are tasked with safeguarding the restaurant during its after-hours.
But this isn't your run-of-the-mill security gig, the animatronic mascots, once the life of the party, have started to malfunction, and you suspect there's more to it than simple technical issues. Strange occurrences and eerie coincidences begin to pile up around you, hinting at a deeper conspiracy within the company itself. Remember, you're here for a reason.
"The Showtime Theatre" is a FNaF Fangame created using Roblox that attempts to be engaging, re-playable, realistic, somewhat grounded and of course scary.
I wanted to challenge myself to make a proper FNaF Fangame in Roblox, as a game like this really hasn't been made before on the platform. I want to keep a sense of realism while still having common tropes seen in FNaF Fangames.
I've been working on this project on and off since 2020, it has gone through many phases before finally in 2022, the idea for 'The Showtime Theatre' was born.
Inspired by real life restaurant chains with animatronic performers such as Chuck E Cheese and Showbiz Pizza. I've attempted to make the game's environments be realistic and based on how a real restaurant would be built.
