Edit: nvm this game suck - i mean it could be a good remake but it needs some fixes...
I was waiting so long for an remake of Sonic2.exe Trilogy series and sadly I'm still waiting it cause this game sucks, sorry to say that but it needs a lot coding rework and an few level fixes, I really got pissed off when Tails just got stuck on spikes, so much that I gave up in the end and decided to watch an gameplay instead
It was a cool game, tails feels heavy for some reason got to spam the buttons to make him fly, and there was a copyright music as well, other then that it was pretty good :)
I am so happy Sonic2.exe got a remake, I've been waiting for years for this to happen. This is a solid remake but there is some collision issues like slopes not working or cliping in them. There is an issue with the tails section for the good ending in act where you can't grab the mirror for some reason and hope it gets fixed soon. This game is great but is rough around the edges which need some patching but this is a solid 7/10, great work!
On paper, this game would be very good and fun but finishing playing this, there was so many bad collisions issues and frustrating puzzles that lasted too long. The spritework was great and was the only saving grace. Overall, I really loved some elements and hated others.
