What do you think?

I have been searching for a game like this for ages! As Hotondo said, I like the idea, but I can't play alone. Maybe add AIs that will run away from IT, and once tagged start chasing the nearest ball? And maybe add multiplayer. I don't wanna rush ya, just some suggestions. For now, awesome concept :D

Like the idea, but I kinda can't play alone LOL

Update 0.0.4:

  • Fixed a bug that I accidentally put into the game where the player slows down after being tagged

Taggy is a work in progress.

Hi everyone! Taggy is a game that lets you play tag with balls in local multiplayer! Up to four players can play at once on the same keyboard, but this is not recommended. It is advised to use more than one keyboard, as some keyboards have key limits in which they will not work if too many buttons are being pushed at once. "Don't push my buttons!" Therefore, try to hook up two keyboards to the computer, if you can manage that.

Taggy is a work in progress, and I have just started learning Unity about two weeks ago. As I learn more, I shall be adding new features to the game, including maybe:

  • Camera angles

  • Gamepad controller support

  • Menu screen where you can choose number of players or colors of players

  • More maps

  • Freeze tag or Zombie tag

  • Online multiplayer

  • and more!

Remember, you need actual friends to play this with. If you have no friends, then too bad.

I actually made this because I help my mom babysit some kids (like four of them ages 10 and under), so I thought that maybe this would be fun to play with them.

Controls:

  1. Arrow keys

  2. WASD

  3. IJKL

  4. Arrow keys on numpad (8456)

Please, I need your feedback and suggestions to make this game better! Do it for me! Do it for you! Don't do it! Whatever! :(

Version Numbering

When I upload the new version of Taggy with the bug fix (mentioned in my last post), I will also be using a new way of numbering the versions of Taggy. So you’re going to see Taggy going to 0.0.1 soon enough.
