Welcome to Underfell, an alternate universe of Undertale where the various monsters in the underground are vicious, where the law Kill or be Killed was firmly established. Never has the monster race been so divided before, gangs, mobs, a once united kingdom has now fallen and erupted into pure chaos. Can you survive the horrors of the underground?

F.A.Q (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: When is the game coming out?

A: It will come out when it does, we do not have a specific date for when the game is going to release. We kindly ask that you do not pressure any members of the development team with this question, as it only adds more pressure and/or stress.

Q: I just downloaded the demo and it says it's needs an update. What do I do?

A: We'll update the packages in due time. If this occurs, join the Discord server and ask the programmer there.

Q: I just downloaded the demo and I get an error, something about Pal_Shader. What do I do?

A: Read the error message and follow its instructions. Download DirectX and see if the problem fixes itself.

Q: THIS ISN'T UNDERFELL! YOU AREN'T EVEN USING ALL OF THE ORIGINAL CHARACTER DESIGNS!!

A: This is not a question but alright, The simple answer is we have our own headcannons. Not everything is going to be exactly like the original Underfell, given as to how the original AU was eventually left to the fandom to make interpretations of. (Not completely abandoned like Popcornprince and Underswap but somewhere in the middle, as the original creator of the AU does show frequent concepts of how they wanted their Underfell characters to look like to this day.) Also, we wanted to create an identity of our own. While still maintaining Underfell's signature dark tone it's well known for, we wanted to create our own spins to the AU. As a result, it gave us something far more unique in which we can call our own.

Q: Do bosses switch routes in this interpretation of Underfell?

A: Technically not a lot of them 'swap' persae. however, with bosses like a certain small golden flower fellow for instance, they're purely Genocide exclusive. The rest of course would be unwise to delve into, given as to how everything else delves into spoiler territory.

Q: Can you use *Insert song or sprite here* for your game?

A: Short answer, it depends. Usually we do not request sprites and/or assets from non-team members, however there were PLENTY of exceptions. Some of those exceptions in fact, eventually ended up becoming members of the team. All themes, sprites and any asset of the sort will be credited in the description and not just by name.

Q: Is this project dead?

A: No, and quite frankly as long as we live it will not be. We have been dedicated to this project since late 2016 and/or 2017 and we do not intend on stopping anytime soon. We may take occasional breaks here and there, but nothing drastic enough to deem this project's cancellation.

Q: Will this be for all users (PC/Mac/Android/Linux etc.)?

A: Yes, although it will most certainly take some time. So far PC is our primary focus, but we shall eventually get to developing an Android version very soon afterwards. No plans for Mac or Linux.

Q: Will this be available on Chromebook?

A: Unfortunately as far as my knowledge goes (and coming from someone who's had experiences with using chromebooks before) Chromebooks are unable to recognize and/or open executable files of any kind. So no, I highly doubt you would be able to play this on a chromebook, unless there is a distinct feature for it developed later on down the road.

Q: Can I use your assets for my game?

A: No, we have already had plenty of instances of theft involving our content. Whether it be sprites or sprites used in thumbnails by various Youtubers without our explicit permission, granted it is a lot less frequent now but it does absolutely NOT make it any easier or less annoying. So no, we kindly ask that you refrain from using our content. You could probably REFERENCE it if possible, but the use of the specific sprites is a big no no, especially in the current UT fandom's state.
