is an unofficial fan project based on/inspired by Toby Fox's UNDERTALE, created by a small team of indie developers, Team Grit (TG)

It is our interpretation/view of the premise of UNDERFELL an alternate universe of Undertale in which everything that can go wrong, has gone wrong, in addition, we are adding original content, introducing new characters, while balancing the tone to maintain the feel of both Undertale and Underfell

A DEMO is currently in development and will feature the first area, the Neglected Tunnels!

Gritfell may contain spoilers for the story or plot of Undertale, as such we highly recommend playing UNDERTALE first, to better understand the plot of Grifell, in addition to this, UNDERFELL, is an AU that's incredibly reliant on interpretation, if you're looking for anything overtly edgy such as extreme swearing, blood, gore, excessive sweat or weird collar stuff, then you are definitely in the wrong place!

FEATURES

  • A character-driven story spanning a total of around 5 Chapters, Chapter 1, "Unfamiliar Underground" will be the only chapter playable in the demo.

  • Killing is still unnecessary, but can you hold in the urge to FIGHT?.. to Kill? The choice is yours, but the consequences are as dire as ever.

  • A variety of locations to explore, both new and old

  • Expanded gameplay mechanics, new features and quality of life improvements inspired by DELTARUNE and Aftertale, as well as some original.

  • (Mostly) Original Soundtrack bursting at the seams with energy, personality, and emotion.

  • You can still pet dogs!

  • Cat???

Q: When will the game be released?
A: We have a demo in progress right now, we are not entirely sure of a release date yet, but we will likely update the demo with the major content as it is completed.

Q: How will future releases be handled once the demo is done?

A: As mentioned before, this is being handled through major content updates but we understand this can be somewhat vague, so read the below for more detailed information!

DEMO 1.0.0 - Area 1 - (Neglected Tunnels and The City of Old)

DEMO 2.0.0 - Area 2 - (The Tundra, Crystalline Caverns and Snowdin City)

DEMO 3.0.0 - Area 3 - (Waterfall Fortress, Hotland)

DEMO 4.0.0 - Area 4 - (Basalt Plains, NEO Hotland, CORE)

FULL GAME (v5.0.0) - Area 5 and Endgame (The Capital, New Home, CASTLE)

Each demo or major content update will contain two or more key locations, and will likely have things such as bug-fixes, revised music/dialogue or even art, so on.

Q: Are you following any headcanons?

A: Not many, but some, yes! Those that we are following relate to some of the main characters, and will definitely be justified.

Q: Will there be a port for mobile?

A: Yes, it is planned!

Q: Is there going to be controller support?
A: Controllers are supported on PC, and will be supported on Mobile as well.

Q: Will X character be on Y route?

A: While we do take inspiration from Underfella's Underfell (OG!Fell) we're likely going to keep the classic "route-swapping" to a minimum, but that isn't to say it won't happen at all.
