WEEK 1: The Path Of Sorrow And Misfortune

CHAPTER 1

My name is Theo, a Tom and Jerry expert. I’ve watched every single Tom and Jerry shorts and movies. As a result, I know every characters’ name, personality, and their characteristics. I can answer every question about “Tom and Jerry”.

What’s that? You have a question for me? Alright, speak up.

Huh? You want to ask me “In the Chuck Jones era of the show, why didn’t Chuck brought back more old characters of the show?”

“And you’re very disappointed that you never get to see Tuffy ‘Nibbles’ mouse, and the brown cat Meathead, which were your favorite characters?”

Well, well. I’m glad you’ve asked. You see, not everyone can watch Tom and Jerry without missing any episodes.

And I believe you’ve never watched THIS episode.

This episode was different. Many parents complained to MGM. The creators of the show were forced to take down this episode.

But now, you get to acknowledge this episode.

And learn the ugly truth of why your favorite characters didn’t return.

CHAPTER 2

The episode’s name is called “Nibbles Kitchen”, and the title card looks like a classic Tom and Jerry cartoon.

In the beginning of the episode, we see Jerry and his little nephew, Nibbles were sneaking out of the mouse hole, ready to get some grub from the kitchen.

But then, the camera moves to a window in the kitchen. A brown, red haired stray cat, which called “Meathead” is peeping at the fridge and the two little mouse.

After this scene, Jerry and Nibbles reached the fridge. They opened it and stated to find some food inside the fridge.

And that’s when Meathead climbed in the house.

CHAPTER 3

Jerry and Nibbles were shocked when they saw Meathead, they quickly started a food fight in the kitchen. During the fight, Nibbles seemed to be a burden to Jerry. Jerry was throwing tomatoes and eggs at Meathead, while he needed to ensure his beloved nephew’s safety.

Yes, the episode looks pretty normal in the beginning, it has classic humor, an interesting plot, and normal animation.

And that’s when the twist came.

CHAPTER 4

Jerry fought and fought. Soon, he became exhausted. He knew he has no chance to win this cat. So he grabbed Nibbles’ hand and ran out of the kitchen as fast as he can.

In spite of that, Meathead was lot faster than Jerry. He caught up Jerry in no time and grabbed Jerry with his hands.

Jerry and Nibbles was petrified. They were looking at the cat in fear.

At that moment, Jerry threw Nibbles at the mouse hole with all of his strength, Nibbles landed right into the hole safetly.

Then, Jerry shouted, ‘Run, Nibbles, Run! And never come back to this house!”

CHAPTER 5

I think it is really cursed that Jerry actually talked in this scene, because Jerry almost never speak in the show.

But this is not the point, the main point is in the next scene.

Nibbles peeped his head out of the mouse hole, and saw something he would never forget in his life:

Meathead ripped Jerry’s limbs off, and poked his stomache with his claws. He then putted Jerry’s body parts in his mouth, chewing satisfyingly.

In this scene, you can actually see Jerry’s blood, skeleton, and organs in front of the screen, making this the most horrifying moment in the Tom and Jerry history.

After Meathead finished eating Jerry, he climbed out the window with a wicked and satisfying smile.

Nibbles, the poor baby mice which is still in the mouse hole, was crying loudly on the floor.

CHAPTER 6

After this dreadful scene, the screen turned into a static. A few seconds later, the screen is clear again, and we can see a similar scene:

Meathead crawled into the kitchen again, he walked towards to the kitchen.

His eyes were full of greed, it is specific that he wanted to steal some food from this house…again.

He opened a cabinet, hoping to find some food in it.

That’s when he saw Nibbles.

Nibbles was no longer a baby, he was wearing a blue hoodie and a pair of black shorts. His eyes were full of vengeance and anger. He even got a knife on his hand.

It’s been a long time since they encounter each other again.

Nibbles stabbed Meathead’s eye as quick as a flash. Meathead fell down on the floor, covered his eyes with his hands in pain.

Nibbles jumped on Meathead’s body, and started to stab Meathead’s body with his knife maniacally.

Meathead cried and scream, he was begging Nibbles to let him go.

Nibbles didn’t say a word, he just focused on torturing Meathead. But that’s when he became unconscious that Meathead suddenly grabbed him with his hand.

Despite being caught, Nibbles stayed calm. He bit Meathead’s hand fiercely. Meathead shouted with his mouth open.

With this opportunity, Nibbles putted a dynamite in his mouth.

CHAPTER 7

The dynamite exploded.

Meathead’s head was disintegrated. The exploding effects were very lifelike.

The whole kitchen was filled with blood and organs.

Nibbles was standing alone in the kitchen.

He slowly walked towards to the cat’s corpse,

he stabbed the cat’s chest,

putted his hand inside the cat’s body,

and pulled his heart out.

CHAPTER 8

The screen turned static again.

When the screen becomes clear, Nibbles is standing in front of a gravestone.

He putted a bouquet of flowers, then he putted a bloody heart in front of the grave.

Finally, he bursted into tears.

“I’ve done it, uncle Jerry”, he said sorrowfully.

And then the screen turned black. The word “The end” appeared on the screen.

CHAPTER 9

So, I guess you’ve understanded it, right? You finally understand the answer of your question.

After this episode, Chuck knew many unlucky children who watched this episode must be traumatized. As a result, he avoided bringing back some characters.

This also explained why a grey mouse called “Nipper” replaced Tuffy in the episode “The Year of the Mouse” and an orange cat (possibly Lightning) replaced Meathead in “Catty-Cornered”.

There are still many unsolved mysteries of Tom and Jerry.

This version of the story is canon to a Basement Show fanmade mod “The Kitchen Show”, but it is not canon to the original mod.
