In Wrong Components, you play as a protagonist who is implanted with a high-tech chip designed to enhance cognitive abilities. However, the chip malfunctions, triggering intense hallucinations that distort reality and unleash terrifying apparitions. As a result, the protagonist must battle these hallucinations, which appear as grotesque, nightmarish versions of people and creatures from their past.

The game begins with the protagonist waking up in a dimly lit, abandoned facility. Initially, they feel disoriented, struggling to grasp what’s real and what’s a product of the chip’s malfunction. The hallucinations begin innocently enough but soon become violent and aggressive, forcing the protagonist to fight for survival. As they venture deeper into the facility, they uncover more about the chip’s true purpose, realizing that they are part of a covert experiment involving mind manipulation and brain augmentation.

Throughout the game, the protagonist’s struggles grow more intense as they face nightmarish environments, each reflecting a twisted version of their memories. These hallucinations grow stronger, and the line between reality and illusion blurs, pushing the player to question whether the protagonist can escape their own mind—or if they are doomed to succumb to the horrors inside.

The gameplay is a mix of psychological horror, combat, and puzzle-solving, where the player must use limited resources to fight hallucinations and navigate through the distorted environments. The protagonist’s health and sanity are constantly at risk, as every battle against the hallucinations takes a toll on both.

Ultimately, the game explores themes of identity, the mind’s fragility, and the consequences of tampering with technology. #horror #action #puzzle
