Argoza Early Access builds are starting to put together an amazing game, meaning only 1 thing, the game will release to Beta soon, focusing on Bug Fixes & small Features for the main release of the game, but what's left?
We only have a few things left, but they will make the game so much better on their own, so here we go:
Interactive Tutorial
We need an interactive tutorial to get the user ready for both Prelude and the next game in the series, as most of it should stay the same.
More Particles & Reworked Blood
Reworked Blood isn't a requested feature, but I think it's just not good enough. We are thinking of adding Zombie Parts to the system but we don't know if it is worth it as the zombies will be removed anyways, though we will add Particles to the Bullets and an Impact Bullet on the wall
Complete Shop
The shop isn't too hard to complete, but we think it is essential for any future Sandbox mode once the story is completed, and it would be nice to unlock new weapons in the story itself.
Start work on the first Map
The first map is everything for Argoza, we need to master the Lighting, Layering, even just the Trees, all of these have to be accurate to the time and area, so we have to do a lot of research, and there is more! Neither of the people working on the game are Graphics Designers, nor are they really good at Art in general! That means we have to practice a ton or just wing it and hope we get it right, I think i'd work on practicing it before releasing the game with an environment that looks like it came from a preschooler.
Branding & Marketing
Wow, this one is hard, now that we have a whole new game engine to work on we have to redo our branding completely, every single bit of it! We have already changed and updated our logos, but there is still much more to come.
Once all this is done, and 0.0.15 will be out, the game will no longer be available to play in the browser as we plan on charging money to play, the price will start at around $4.50CAD, and the price will be halved on full release.
