(COMPLETE!) The Henry StickMINI Collection: PROEPILOGUE
2 years ago

Added various small features to improve the game for 2 players.

Read article for all features added.

  • Now, just like the timestream sections, P1 can only be controlled with the arrow keys, and P2 with the WASD keys. This makes it harder for one player to disrupt another.

  • The gamepad support has been improved. The controller controls P1, and a second controller (maybe) can control P2. You can also give P2 the keyboard to use!

  • Of course, there's the usual load of bug fixes.

Gentleman Rat Studios (@GR-Rob ) describe it as “a little bit Animal Crossing, a little bit Stardew Valley. Maybe even a little bit Windwaker, too."

PE Sketchbook #1:

This is the earliest concept art I found for PE's battle engine. It worked similarly to the original THSMC engine, besides the fact that battles had two enemies and that all battle participants were always in view.
