years ago, god that feels so wired to say lol, this game has aged pretty decent with good content and great visuals. I also really like the updated models such as Soulcage, B.O.A and Dawnbreaker, there were some meh one's like Foxy (why was he given a big head lol) and Freddy (why was his eye removed for a blank one?) but other then that they're pretty good. Another thing I like are the added enemy's like (as said before) Dawnbreaker, Havoc Bonnie, Havoc BB, Havoc JJ and Springlitch are fine addictions to the game even if they're easy to deal with, I also like the camera renders and the game over screen being even gorier then the original game, great touch. The story is pretty much the same but Alex is given a bit more of a background in the newspaper (we will talk about this later) and Garvey is "slightly" more tame then his original counterpart. The gameplay is okay but is a bit easy and has some clipping issues on the camera renders (tapes, B.O.A and AMIREAL in the same room in cam 09 lol).
Overall it's a solid game and Idk if there's anything else to talk about... well there is actually. Although I like the game and it's a good play to go through the game has some negatives I wanna talk about, some of these are subjective, nitpicks and some actual issues I found when revisiting the game.
I'll start with the subjective, I wasn't a big fan of Chica's new laugh for her compared to the original, I understand that it was done to sound more feminine but it sounds a sound effect rather then a creepy laugh and sounds a little funny lol.
Another thing I didn't really like the Golden Call's and Foxy's new mechanics, instead of trying to fix the issues with the originals idea they instead chose to cut it all together and gave a toned down version of the machinic to Spinglitch which is disappointing tbh.
This is a big one but I don't like how the textures for the purgatory is fnaf 3 and nothing else, the building itself is good and you can tell that they put love and effort into it but to me I prefer the originals because it doesn't look like "real" place to be in.
Something I disliked the moment I saw him in the game and I still don't like it to this day, I'm not a big fan of Garvey's colors being so dark that you can't see anything but his eyes and size. Garvey's design is some of the best designs I have ever seen and what I liked about the original game was that the flesh and the origan's were fully visible to the player which gave a disgusting look to him when you add to see him from ether your right door or when you have to run to the other side. Here that's practically gone, he's so dark that you can't see any of his flesh which sucks because that's one of the best parts of the design, the part of him that shows any sort of flesh is when your jumpscared and even then it lasts for a few secs.
Since I brought it up, some of the jumpscares in the game are not better then the original game, there're decent on there own but aren't better the original game such as cupcake, Garvey (his walking one's due to how awkward and slow they are) and Foxy look odd. Something they removed was the sound from when your about to get jumpscared, it's used in the game but not for the jumpscares and that upsets me because that level of stress is something unique to the game and now it's gone. Imagine this in your head for a moment:
your on night 9, your on 6am and you get attacked by 4 things at once, you think to yourself if you wanna try to fend them all off or wait it out to see if you pass or not and then you hear "the sound"... it's quiet and nothings happening, your left alone in the darkness prying that you pass and... you did, good job :)
To me that's awesome and it's not here, great sadness.
Something I question is why they turned Alex into a father to the writes family rather then a brother which on it's own is fine, but then it's reveled that he KILLED HIS WIFE AND IS ONLY BROUGHT UP AT THE GAMES END. Why did you guys even include this? I'm not against adding this or anything but this doesn't do anything to the plot, this is the same shit as Grizzly's where they throw something into the game as a way to build lore or make characters feel important and stuff which sometimes doesn't work. If you remove this from the game nothing changes, I'm not kidding and if this doesn't come back to GATEWAY then I won't be sad about it.
Last thing to say here is that I never liked the AMIREAL minigame, that sounds like it would be a negative part of this but you can use an auto clicker to take care of it quickly and it's not that serious but I disliked this in the og too so there's that lol.
Alright, here's some real problems with the game, for starters the game doesn't explain how to get the BITE night. You have to look it up on a wiki which is crap, I understand that this wasn't planned and was put in by Honko to which Bithell gave the finger and made it so you couldn't play it despite it being in the game lmao. But now that this night is staying and will come back to GATEWAY (I think) there is no reason as to why there are no hints on how to get this night at all, someone who hasn't played the game before or haven't heard of this will not find out by themselves unless they go online one day and find it. Please put hints on how to get it and you should be fine.
Now I'm going to explain on how your meant to get access to the night, here it is:
You must beat the game in it's fullest, so beat night 12 first and then do this.
You must go to nights 5, 9 and 11 in that order and pay attention to the time. Deepening on what night it is you must wait until a time is hit and then look to ether your left or right door to see a character.
Night 5: 1am, look to your left.
Night 9: 2am, look to your right.
Night 11: 11pm, look to your right. Now for this is important part, when you see the character, it will end and will show a message that says "type BITE" and will show the 7am screen. It's a blink and you'll miss it but your meant to type bite AFTER the message. So when it shows the 7am screen type BITE and you'll be good to go.
Now the night itself is bare bones, it's Garvey's night but you don't use the cameras and you only need to stare at him in the celling and the two doors and that's it. Kinda lame but the history is cool and the boss itself is pretty neat too so ig it's okay.
The last one here is Havoc Freddy In Space with not just it's bugs but the bullshit boss fight at the end. I talked about (and recorded) the bugs which can be seen here, the boss fight however is something else. Here's what it looks like:

This is it, you can prob see the issues here. The boss can fire in three spots and you can only dodge one out of the three, there is no platform you can use to avoid at least one of shots but no this is it. You get three lives, a gun upgrade and a shit jump and that's it, the reward is decent but not good enough to put yourself through this bullshit and on top of everything else this boss gets FASTER AND CAN FIRE MORE THEN ONE AT A TIME WHEN IT'S NEARLY DEAD. Give more health or even add something to the stage to make this bearable and I think it'll be fine as it's a neat part of the game but isn't beatable.
And that's it, despite all I said here the game is pretty good to play and I'm happy with the time I spent on it but it's got somethings I'm not a fan of and that's okay. Nothing's perfect and I don't clam to be the be all end all about this game (or anything else for that mater) and I don't want to be seen as that, if you agree with what I'm saying then okay but if you disagree then that's also okay. That's all I gotta say, take care everyone and thank you if you read this all the way and stuff lol, have a good day/night :)
