(Link for the Scratch announcement.)
Heya.
Y'all been busy, huh...?
...
So, I've come to make an announcement; an announcement regarding Underverse.
After the release of the 0.0 demo, I'm going to take a break from making Underverse, the game. Why am I taking a break, I hear you say? Well, it's a shortish story. Come closer, and I'll tell ya.
Over the course of Underverse's four timelines worth of development — IV being the current one — I feel a bit overwhelmed, having worked on this game for a span of ~2 or 3 years.
Overwhelmed might not be the right word for this, I only used that word 'cause I can't of a different, more suitable word.
But y'get what I'm trying to say, right...? What I'm trying to say is: I wanna work on something new...
Don't worry, the break won't last long... Unless you count a few years worth of a break as 'long'. And in case you're wondering: no, I'm not leaving the UT/DR fandom, too.
It's been a pleasure making this game for y'all and for Jakei (as a gift). Your support won't be forgotten, and your patience will be fulfilled. Oh, and here's a few special shoutouts for some people.
Here's a special thanks to...
Jael Peñaloza, for making one of the best fanseries known to the Underground...
@ALMOST-_-CLEVER , the guy behind Unrelated: Don't Forget, and a supporter with great advice.
Additionally, @ffatalityy and the rest of the people who helped make Unrelated.
My girlfriend, for playtesting the battle engine for Underverse.
@DonKorge , a supporter!
@Danyo_ , the guy behind Super Boiboi 1 and 2, and a supporter with great advice.
@LuanVanDerberg , the 69th follower.
@kleeverklover and @FriskJin , the 99th and 100th followers respectively.
@Yasmy , another supporter, and a dev of many other UT fangames — including Underhunt!
@NyxTheShield , the secondary weapon behind the Underverse OST.
Toby Fox and Temmie Chang, since they made UT.
And most importantly... YOU!
I cannot thank y'all enough for supporting me on this long, long journey. And although the people who're viewing this are mainly the followers of the fourth timeline, there were people before y'all who supported the development of Underverse, ever since Timeline I–III.
Now then, with that out of the way...
Until neXt time...
...
Stay determined, have hope, and don't forget the legacy of Underverse, the game...
