An update for Sumo Cars 2 has been released! Go check it out, there are a lot of improvements and new mechanics. =)

Changes in version Alpha 0.2.2 include:


GAMEPLAY CHANGES

-Added Upgrades System (Transmission, Tires)

-Added chase camera mode (Toggle using C)

-Vehicle top speed now affected by transmission choice and amount of gears

-Vehicle condition damage now calculated based on collision force

-Vehicle condition damage now affected by 'Toughness' stat of vehicle

-Improved respawning locations

-Respawning when no checkpoints are passed now respawns player at start line

USER INTERFACE CHANGES

-Added Map Preview Dialog

-Added Social Media buttons to title screen

-Redesigned Vehicle Selection screen

-Improved loading screen

-Enhanced update detected screen

-Updated credits section

MAP CHANGES

-Remastered title screen background scene

-Renewed UltraGearGames logo on Title Screen

VEHICLE CHANGES

-Vehicles now tilt forwards/backwards when accelerating/braking

-Increased engine sound range

-Fixed an issue where some vehicles would have high idle RPM whilst the countdown was happening

-Replaced car wreck rust texture

MISCELLANEOUS CHANGES

-Replaced title screen music

-Created new engine rendered UltraGearGames intro

-Intro is now skippable only using the Spacebar, Enter

-AI Car engines are now quieter than the player's

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

The Alpha 0.3.3 update is here!

You can expect many improvements to visuals, expansions to the Car Upgrades System, and drastically improved overall handling, making the game much more fun.
