I will be adding both of these puzzlingly-shaped creatures to the game!
On top of being adorable, I fell in love with the crawdad's claw placements! It'll make for some super fun tile effects - I'm sure!
There were SO MANY great weevil entries... But this one takes the cake for having this super unique zig-zag shape and stubby little legs!
It has been a joy doing this contest... and everyone did a fantastic job! I will be posting some honorable mentions later this week - Stay tuned! : )

I know scorpions aren't *quite* insects, but I am willing to make an exception for a super interesting shape. You also need a good mischievous-looking guy in a creature collector sometimes.

I was worried the "blockers" in INSECTILE would annoy players - but many cited them as the best parts of the demo!
So, I'm working on new blocker types today : ) Bees leave honey splotches and water skimmers have armor that pops like bubble wrap!
