Announcing Cancellation of HTMaker 3.0 and Announcing HTMaker 2020!!!


Hello everyone!

I have decided to drop HTMaker 3.0. And make a new version, and call it HTMaker 2020, HTM2020 will include a Complete Overhaul of all, and i'll rebuild it from scratch. this will make it far easier for me as a developer as i can properly implement what i have learned, This is a perfect solution. It may take a while, yes that is true. but, i assure you, you will not be disappointed. I plan to as well implement translations into HTMaker 2020.

You will NOT have to pay for HTM2020 if you already own HTM 2.0, this will come for free, you can download it as soon as it's released.

I hope you understand my decision, i am way to confused on my code, as i have learned far more stuff and HTMaker itself is a very, very messy project. Here is an example as to what the project file looks like:

Just a bunch of random files, and temp files. i don't want it to be this way, so i decided just scrap this alltogether.

Things to Expect and Goals with this release:

  • Brand new UI

  • Syntax highlighting

  • Built in HTML & CSS Support

  • Visual Editor (It depends.)

  • Database Creation tools

  • Live previews (I'll see what i can do about that.)

I hope you all understand, i know this will be a bummer to whom wants the new updates, however i assure you, letting me restart the project entirely will make this far easier on me, and make it a far better program.
