LISA: Timeless in Pointless - Drunkard's Paradise
23 hours ago

ANOUNCEMENT:

I've brought it up in an addendum already, but there's going to be a major update to Drunkard's Paradise in the near-ish future.

The main goal is adapting content from Irons on Fire, but there's also plans for some original material as well.

I still feel I'm early in the development process so I'm not sure how much of this is making it into the final draft, but at the very least I've got plans for the following changes (and non-change):

- Vintage is being added no matter what. The NPC who can repair Vintage can be found in Downtown Olathe, but there's a chance you'll be able to find it earlier than that (likely in the Weather Institute) as an item or a party member you can't revive.

- There's going to be more party members than just Vintage. One party member is already completed and is a near-guaranteed inclusion, and there's two more in the concepting phase right now.

- Steve Collins probably isn't making it into the mod. I don't dislike him as a party member, but I don't really have an "angle" for him like I did with John Spin.

- I'm going to do some rewrites here and there to account for the new plot elements (mainly in regards to Ern and the main duo's motivations).

- Maybe a new ending? We'll see if this works out or not but I'm thinking of doing an equivalent to this mod's "Infinity" Route that's focused on Berny instead of Elton.

- Russel Bats will smoke at least 1 (one) cigarette.

I don't have a release date yet, since I'm splitting my free time between this and another project for the foreseeable future. I don't expect this to take an extremely long time, mind you, but it'll be out when it's out.

I'm not sure if 1.1.10 or 1.2.0 fits more, but I like the idea of getting to update 1.1.11 so eh, I'll stick with this.

This should have come out in April, but I took a REALLY long time to both start and finish my test playthrough.

Not a super intense update, but it restores functionality to an element of the Gluttinator/Weez fight that got lost due to the larger party member count.

If you're already doing a playthrough, and Ham is level 10 or higher, I'd wait to download this until after you've beaten the mod. Otherwise you'd have to reload a save before then to get the new moves and Electric Palm (you learn that at level 10 now).

I did it because the schnoz felt off center.

And also to fix the game breaking bug, that too.

I played some video games this year. Here's a list of them.

Feel free to check a look if you want. Or don't.

Labor Day.

I have no idea why it took me this long to do that first thing.

Cow Tools.

No idea why I feel like updating this so much lately, but here's some stuff.

I've been trying to do this for literal years.

My hands were numb by the end (although part of that was because of some videos I was half watching at the same time)

Now I can play Nuclear Throne like a normal person! I NEVER have to do this again!
