So the reason Sonic Sunrise’s development was on pause was because I wanted to work on a Cuphead parody (which I’m still not done, but I’ve made good progress on) to practice animating in Scratch. I’ve learned a decent amount, so it’s time to resume development.
Before we start making anything too big like music, animations, etc, I want to figure out what exactly I want this project to be and what I want it to look like, sound like, etc. So me and the team are going to discuss certain aspects of the game, one of those being Sonic’s design.
We’ve constantly been changing his design throughout development, mostly because I’ve been unhappy with them the more we used them. So this time, we’re coming up with multiple styles and designs before we pick a final one, and I’ve actually already made a few. You can see them down below.
My favorite has to be the third one.
Note that we may not end up using any of these, and we might choose a different design, so don’t get too attached to one of them.
