I have made a lot of friends on GameJolt, but it really sucks that in supporting them, my FYP has turned into mostly brainrot and horrorcore, two things I really hate.
I'm glad that on my browser, I can just bookmark my profile/game page and always go to my desired communities/tags from there. On the mobile app, the FYP will be the first thing you see (which is fine in itself). The problem is that even when you only interact with content that you like to build your FYP, the creators you interact the most with and/or are the most recommended could post both ends of the spectrum on any given day...and that can eventually lead to a post that catches you off guard in the bad way.
Perhaps you could work something out where we can have a setting to either "mark as not interested" (where the algorithm restricts posts of non-interested content) or just have user-selected tags or communities that show up in our FYP.
I'm not asking for a manual inspection of every post, just a way to mitigate the chances of unpleasantness upon opening the app.
