The Mazda RX-7 is Jusebe's dream car, so the wallpaper theme was clear to me from the beginning.
My initial idea was to draw him and the car, but then I thought it would be better to make it simpler and decided to draw only the car.
The drawing is made entirely in photoshop, from a blank sheet. I drew the lines, colored it, shaded it and added illumination, reflections, etc. The only thing not drawn by me are the stickers (NOS, Digital Art, Initial D, Jusebe, the graphic equalizer, Gamejolt and the flags).
In the second image you can see a real photo that I used as a reference to know how the car looked like (there's nothing traced, of course).
The car is deformed on purpose, as it's a cartoon-car. Therefore, it isn't proportioned and the perspective isn't realistic.
