Just something small I was thinking about. Inspired by Everhood, Negativetale, and this, BelowFable is a UT AU where Monsters have been trapped Underground by the Humans. The Humans created a special barrier that, when trapped inside it, grants immortality. Sure, people can "die", but they always come back. No one can truly pass on, even in the most unbearable pain they may be feeling, which is driving monsters insane. This is why they're acting so negative and unstable. Think of it as everyone having their own save point. Monsters prophesied that an ANGEL, using their GIFT, would come down and finally give them the freedom they've been begging for. Instead of Monsters begging you to SPARE them, you're encouraged to FIGHT them all, much like a traditional RPG. Perhaps, there's another way of freeing the Monsters..?
