Spent some time on making an adaptive UI for my html5 game in gamemaker. Buttons and pictures now resize and shift if the browser size changes.

Did some progress on the next part of the Depot. This area is going to be a bit less spacious than the previous one.
Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
Will add a bit more lighting, but for now finished with this section of the Depot level.
π₯³ Year recap. Worked on JICE: new meshes, weapons, an NPC robot, dialogues, started level design for level 2. Released a web game and even earned some (small) money from ads. Next yearβs goal: 2 web games and.. a bit more money? π

Made a simple comparison table of the most popular asset stores! I was mainly aiming for 2D pixel art, but it is applicable for other asset types as well. Overall, itch io is probably ahead for me, but it is worth the time to set up other storefronts too.
