Charlie is the guardian of Moonlight City, he's Damian's best friend and they both work together to defend the city. They both defend the Fountain of the 7 Solastars, the stars that make the city run smoothly.

Similar to Damian's Hammer, his Sword also shows his emotions, but something that makes Charlie unique is that he doesn't fight back with his sword, he only uses it to defend himself by blocking since Charlie is Pacifist.

There's a legend that says "If the protectors of the fountain form a strong bond, they will be given the Sword of Justice and the Shield of Liberty".
