Decided to make my own design of a musical theater character: Persephone from Hadestown! Specifically her Lady of the Underground outfit (the outfit she wears in Act 2 while she's in Hadestown)

You should watch Hadestown it's so good


Background of the design:

Her hair I think would be shorter in the underground than on Earth and she'd have thicker makeup and gloves to match the aesthetic down there

Her dress is pomegranate colored, which is based off of the original Greek Mythology tale (Persephone is eternally tied to the underworld due to eating the seeds of a Pomegranate, which can be seen as beads on her dress)

Alsooooo on another note: this afternoon my mom and I are seeing the touring cast of Hadestown at the theater and I'm so excited!!!
