DEMOS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!

If you're a Linux or Windows user, a demo of Guide Dog is now available

In the demo, you will find a full run of Area 1. You can tap into Area 2, but there isn't anything there.

High Scores are recorded in code, but they are not yet enabled. Once they are enabled, previous high scores should* show up, so no worries*.

If you know what you are doing and feel like helping out, the Windows demo comes with a debug package. Not expected, but it is there for your enjoyment.

If you feel like giving awesome feedback, here is what I am looking for:

-I can't start a new game

-I can't load a previous game

-Chording is not correct (make sure it really is the game and not your computer or poor skills. Perky Duck is an excellent way to test your computer's chording)

-I fell off the map (include level and rough location, if possible)

-The level won't load

-XYZ feature would dramatically improve gameplay mechanics

-ABC feature would greatly increase gameplay immersion/enjoyment

-Some other game-breaking thing

I will read any and all feedback and suggestions, but there is a priority list. Cosmetic changes (like changing the color of the cats or the curtains) is generally toward the bottom.

Thanks for looking!

Gentleman Rat Studios (@GR-Rob ) describe it as “a little bit Animal Crossing, a little bit Stardew Valley. Maybe even a little bit Windwaker, too."

Doing some designing of the main village, mostly so I can get some connections in and get the next part of the opening cutscenes roughed in.

Art day today. Did a little messing around with the cupboards and some furniture. Got a wine cellar, shower and tub and such. Probably redo appliances, spiff them up a bit Once I get all the major stuff in, then I'll go through and build the levels

Give your PC what it really wants…

Lots of modeling the last few days. Got some houses made, remade some of my terrain blocks (rebuilt the harbor), and started on the NPC models. Also worked on the battle system and the follower system, now with 1/10th the code but 10x more efficient
