Devlog 0: Introduction

This post is no more than a warm welcome, now, right off the bat I want to address something: I know I've cancelled previous remastered versions, and that's simply because I would loose motivation. To prevent such a problem I'm not going to reveal that much, from now on I'm only gonna update you guys on the game's progress through devlogs.

Now, I also want to answer some questions some of you guys may have:

Q: Will this game also be on android?

A: Yes and no, this game features a lot of complex engineering that an android/IOS device simply can't run. However, I'm planning on porting this game to the steam deck after the PC version is published and stable.

Q: How long will it take you to finish this game?

A: I can't give an exact estimate, but I can say it will approximately take a few months. I'm aiming to have this game finished by mid-late 2024, but that's not a guarentee.

Q: On a percentage of 1 - 100, how close is this game to being done?

A: 5%

Q: Will this game have a sequel?

A: That depends, I have no intentions of making a sequel. However, if this game gets enough positive reception, I might consider making one ;)

Q: Why will it take you so long to finish this game?

A: I'm aiming to make it ambitious and unique, you can view the "About" section in the description for more info on said subject.

Q: Is this game canon to the official FNaF timeline?

A: Back when I was working on the old remastered version, the game was set to take place in between FNaF: PS and FNaF: SB, making it a "midquel". However, I decided to make this version take place in it's own universe so I'll have more freedom with what I want and don't want to include.

Q: Will this game feature voice acting?

A: Originally, yes. But I've recently changed my mind and decided that the game will only feature text-dialogue.

Q: Will the animatronics have voices?

A: No, I feel like animatronic antagonists are more intimidating without voices.

Q: Are the animatronics possesed?

A: No, they are normal robots controlled by A.I.

If you guys have any more questions, feel free to ask me one in the comments and I'll make sure to answer them!

That's all for me, you guys can expect a "Devlog 1" in the near future. Until next time...
