Welcome back everyone! You may notice there's no big poster image this time, not really any particular reason, but mainly because I wanted to highlight the changes we've made since our last demo specifically to Tails' section of the game.
Currently we have bigger plans to rework some parts of Tails' section to both look and play better than what we have out now. Mainly in reworking Fiery Depths' level design from the ground up to fix up some issues we had with it before.
Don't fret if you like what was shown before! Fiery Depths is the only major rework going to happen to Tails and it's not a high priority at the moment regardless. The rest of Tails' stages, including Truth Act 1, will remain the same between the demo and the full game, as both me and Lime are proud with how the rest turned out. Fiery Depths is just lacking for us in particular.
BUT we also have updated some things VISUALLY for Tails so far, including new Hill assets to really pump up the "dead hill" visual we had going for it, as well as some small changes to Tails' sprites for fun.
All of this work is done in-between my progress for Knuckles, so do not worry if it seems like I'm switching focus to less important things. I'm still hard at work on Knuckles and trying to make his section look the best I possibly can given my experience as a sprite artist.
