Devlog #7

Completed 7 of 8 mechanics in the bedroom!

Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful week! Today, I bring you another devlog about project BSB! Development has been pretty fast lately; I'm hoping that it stays that way... Here is what actually changed since last week:

  • The foundation of the desk mechanic (batteries) is done.

  • The foundation of the vinyl player mechanic is done.

  • The foundation of the flashlight mechanic is done.

  • The foundation of the door mechanic is done.

  • Visual changes to make it darker.

  • Some changes to previous mechanics and their code.

I'm getting closer to a proof of concept! This is a big milestone and that means that I will be focusing on polishing that part of the game for the next month. I will see if other things that I planned for the game will be in the demo since the bedroom might take more than a month, making it impossible to add other content. Anyways, that is it for me! Next up

I'm starting the project today with a simple map I can code my player with. I am still figuring out what will be the game mechanic.

Remade the whole gun so it actually looked like a glock 26.
