Devlog Time! (03)

Since last I haven't updated much, but I got a head start on the level design for Chapter 1, some more tiling and layering work, I'll likely change up the room down the line but so far we have:

- Main Menu (Basic); needs updated

- Options Menu (Needs function)

- Functional Main Menu quit option

- Chapter 1 basic sprite design and placement

- Character Idle Animation

- Weapon Icon and Health Bar (needs function)

July 8 is Video Game Day, a holiday that's obviously close to our hearts at Game Jolt.

Celebrate by completing our quests! They won't be around long, so get the rewards while you can.

- Basic Movement Implemented (x-axis slide [YIPPEE!!])

*Bugs

- An odd bug where entering the Options menu now randomly removes sprite animation and accelerates player movement by noticeable amount (needs attention)

So far in development I have a baseline for a main menu with a start function, basic options including VSync, and a Quit function! It's not much but it's a start!
