Devlog Time! (04)

- Basic Movement Implemented (x-axis slide [YIPPEE!!])

*Bugs

- An odd bug where entering the Options menu now randomly removes sprite animation and accelerates player movement by noticeable amount (needs attention)

Not much else to report yet, but thank you for reading! (Movement implementation was so complicated for no reason, I seriously had it broken for over an hour and realized I just needed an "elif" statement instead of an "if" statement, and it fixed what I was dealing with. Game Dev, am I right?)

Devlog Time! (03)

Since last I haven't updated much, but I got a head start on the level design for Chapter 1, some more tiling and layering work, I'll likely change up the room down the line but so far we have:

So far in development I have a baseline for a main menu with a start function, basic options including VSync, and a Quit function! It's not much but it's a start!

We're about halfway through #Joltober, and here is some of the great art we've seen so far!

Devlog time!

I updated the main menu with some graphics and started on the Chapter 1 level design. Just tiling for now, and with an idle character animation, but we'll be setup soon for sure!

Hospital trip was something, I was hooked up to IV and got a CT scan of my brain, they did it with contrast which feels so funky, anyways I'm back, they found nothing so we still dunno whats wrong with me....bleh ;w;

Lace fight was hard.. on my feelings...
