#Devruary I always had this habit of backing up the project files, game assets and even concept art on my drive.

It's very useful for archiving stuff and if you need to recover something (or if you simply want to look back at your old stuff).

I use Google Drive to archive everything, although I used Discord before to store old art and stuff on private servers (that's how I got to recover that old art when I lost everything on my old tablet) but I think that Drive is a better option for bigger files like whole project files and stuff.

More concept art! (1st slide)

I made those in 2023 when I was working on the Scratch prototype of it, most of those were meant to be enemies and even side characters.

I'll elaborate on those concepts sometime in the future.

These are far more dated compared to the other concept arts I showed here (unfortunally I don't know the OG dates of these since I recovered them years later on an abandoned discord server I used to archive stuff, but I believe that these were made on 2022).

Crazy concept of what a 3D level would be like... I do have plans for a 3D Koppy game after I finish developing the first games!

Next up

VERTICAL LEVEL!

Here you have to go up instead to the sides to complete the level (the jump mechanics work much better in this level format!)

This might or might not replace the existing horizontal (normal) levels.

1st level almost done!

Coded a new enemy system: they appear in 10 different places, but in reality there's only 4 of them! (It's not clones, that might be impossible on Gameboy unfortunally)

So I was adding a new screenshot to my game's game page (on the "Design" tab), I deleted one image since I didn't need it there anymore and then after I saved it ALL the images in the page got scrambled or something!

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Koppy went through many changes, every look with its own personality!

It all started with a prototype Scratch game in 2022, now we're in 2025 with a Gameboy game on its Beta/Demo phase!

CAVE LEVEL!

Watch out for spiders... And your step!

Done decorating the cave (with also some slight changes in general), I also changed some of the colours (Koppy's palette now varying from each level, etc.)

This new update might be out soon.

Name change! Kumper Socks is now Koppy Kopsocks.

This name change was made for a particular reason (the same reason as why Pac-Man didn't stick to Puck-man).

The logo will be updated later.

(The 0.4.0 build with the rebrand is now avaliable!)

If I put every single "1st level" I made into the game now then I'd have a full set of levels already

Also did some changes to the jump mechanic and did a bunch of optimization.
