So, The Final Major Update For FEUR is upon us. And it's. Surreal. Considering this project (From Classic to Revisited) has been a long 2 years of versions to lead us to where we are now, I've decided to take a look back and share what is to come with the final MAJOR update (yes, that's right, there gonna be more updates, more on that later) and a little tease towards what's next.
Revisited 3.0.0
The Main Menu Has Reseaved a major Sprite rework For the background I wanted to go for a sunset instead of nighttime like most other fnati games do when they show the outside. And I think I did a good job with that. The logo has also been updated to its current variant.
The Select Screen Has gotten a new background as well (A lot of this is still a WIP and will probably be changed) and legacy mode has been replaced by _____ from what I have planned I think y'all will find it a ton of fun.
The Official games section is bout the same as always, there's probably a few new renders, but honestly, it's been so long since the last update I've forgotten what was added since then. But trust me, there's probably something new. Oh, and also of course the addition of completely original music for the radio from the talent of @W851 and @MsmFnafBoi . (btw the music these fellas are cooking up is steller)
The FanGames Section is obviously gonna have the inclusion of Project Disney (A game with a massive amount of renders that I've been building up over the last few builds) but there will be a few extra renders sprinkled in.
The Jumpscares Section...
THE ARCHIVE, this section has long been the most neglected part of FEUR, BUT NO LONGER, it's now getting a complete revamp, it's now an archive and timeline of the entire history of fnati and its fangames (Kinda like this post that used to be my pinned post) I'm really happy with what I got so far so I think y'all will find this section a treat.
Ok, Ok. In all seriousness let for real talk about the jumpscares section, I'll be real, I don't think it'll ever get completed, and that's for one big reason. Space. Jumpscares take up a lot of image files, and frankly, in a game with over 1000 Renders, you don't exactly have the room to do that sort of thing. So, will I get rid of it? Probably not, since it's tied to an achievement. So I'll leave it there, as a sorta inside joke.
And that is all I have for FEUR as of now, (that I will show)
But that's not the end of this Devlog.
Classic Remastered
Classic Remastered, the previously scratch exclusive release is going to be added to the game page it will probably be up by the time you get to this point in the post, it's mostly the same as its scratch release, just with a few polishing. Touches and this does sorta segway into the last thing I wanna talk about
What's Next After FEUR?
So remember back at the top when I said I'd come back to the legacy mode later, well now is that time. After Feurs Last Major update I plan to go back to those versions and make Defintive editions of each of them. Filling them with extra content Original Music, and overall fully realizing that version of FEU. I do not have much to show for these versions just yet, so just have this little teaser.
Anyway that is all I have to show for you today, hope to see y'all soon with the 3.0s release
