Game Development Update #2 (11/22)

Greetings everyone. Sorry for the absence. I recently obtained a full tiem job outside of making indie games, and have been adjusting to my new life and schedule. I am trying to pick the development process back up, as I was making very good progress before I landed my job.

The full version will be released as soon as it’s finished, which could be any time between now and this same date next year, or possibly even later. However, that is a worst-case scenario. if all goes well and I get development smoothly back on track, the full game should be out by early 2016.

Currently maps are being produced, and item lists being updated. The story writing is progressing quite far as well, and all of chapter 1 should be finished with three or so more large story sections, which should amount to about 3-4 hours of gameplay.

The whole game and story is meant to take place over the course of five episodes, each one being relatively the same game length which should make the game (as a whole) anywhere from 15-20 hours in length. Ican’t say I’ll hit that goal for sure, but it is what i’m aiming for.

That will cover it for news and updates for now. Keep checking back, and you should hopefully hear from me soon. Take care and have a great day everyone!!

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Spaaaace~

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)
