Getting a Makeover

The Game Jolt Launcher is getting a makeover to make it leaner, cleaner and a whole lot more awesome!

The text in the two boxes is going to be updated to contain relevant data, likely about the installed games and then on the right other details such as news, achievements etc.

Additionally the background image is designed to cycle through a number of images based, the exact images can be customized, but is intended to be screenshots taken in game.

Additional extras are also being added to reduce the system impact the launcher might have on your system. It is now closed when you start a game from it and reopened again when you quit the game.

Finally, the “Cold” theme is currently just an experiment. Their is a very good chance that the colors will be reverted back to Game Jolt Green before release.

Before the full version is released allowing the use of the launcher for multiple games I plan to release a seperate Solo Launcher that will allow an app creator to customize the launcher to their game more than the global launcher. It will also allow a developer to add specific extras to their launcher that may not have a place in the final launcher.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Why walk when you can jump?

not the greatest house, but it's a house! :D

A few screenshots of the places you'll cross in the Demo of Blu. You can play it today on #gamejolt !
