GUIDE TO DEALING WITH CHARACTERS

So this is how to defend yourself against the animatronics in this game…

Yortusin: This blue animatronic will randomly choose 1/4 of the room doorways to move to. Shut the door for 3-5 seconds, and check the camera. If he gets into the room, he will be invisible for a short while upon entering the room where he is. My tip for this point is just to remember where he is. When he’s in the room that you’re in, press space while hovering your mouse cursor over him. He will move back one room, into the doorway. From 4-3, 3-2, 2-1, and 1-4. Go shut the corresponding door at that point for 3-5 seconds.

TIPS FOR YORTUSIN:
In later nights, simply remember where he moves to randomly. When you just press space to get rid of him, he will not randomly move. He will only sorta randomly enter the room. This makes it easier to deal with him, and be able to spend more time worrying about other animatronics.

Cross: This red animatronic is well known for giving main characters seizures. This joke is a good place to point out the obvious epilepsy warning, isn’t it. He will appear randomly, and you just have to go press the green button on the desk. Or you can just wait from around 5-10 seconds for him to lost interest in you, and leave you alone. He will disable your cameras and generator recharge panel when in the room. In your spare time, maybe you can check camera 2 and recharge the amount of times you can use the Cross repel button. When the Cross repel button is out of uses, it will turn red.

TIPS FOR CROSS:
When you get repel Cross, it’s best to go over and recharge the uses for the repel button on camera 2 as soon as it’s possible.

Rick 1.0: This pink withered animatronic has wheels in it’s butt, and it’s always somehow slumped over. To avoid him getting really angry at you for looking at him, simply look to the opposite side of the room for a second or two.

Rick 2.0: The shiny new rage inducing animatronic will try to cut the power to one of your rooms randomly. Check cameras 3-6 to find where he is, and go find the pink panel to your left. Press the button that corresponds to his location, not by camera. Remember the numbers next to these outer cameras during night 3, as they are the answer to any of your locating Rick 2.0 with button problems. There will also be a warning icon visible on the bottom right corner of the screen when Rick 2.0 is trying to cut the power. Find the right button. This will use 20% of the room power immediately upon pressing any button.

TIPS FOR RICK 2.0:
In later nights, you can press all four buttons when he is active. As long as you’ve been recharging the power for your rooms well enough, you should be fine.

Mask Dude: This floating mask animatronic will randomly enter your field of view. When you see him floating around, click-hold and press the M key on your keyboard. You will scare him off with your keyboard skills, or maybe it’s the game’s interpretation of you smacking him with your keyboard.

TIPS FOR MASK DUDE:
You can simply open the cameras or recharge panel in order to temporarily lock the scrolling, and deal with him on the one screen side without any scrolling problems. You can close the panels afterward to allow scrolling again. This also works with room 3’s door button while dealing with Yortusin. This will be referred to from here on out as the Scroll-Lock technique, at least in this player’s guide.

Metal Yortusin: This creature that followed you here via your hallucinations is to be feared. But you simply have to stare at him for a few seconds. Try looking from left to right randomly from time to time. You can use the Scroll-Lock technique to deal with him if he enters from the middle of the screen as well.

Shadow Yortusin: This hallucination is all in your mind, and can still kill you. You just have to Scroll-Lock and press space while hovering over him. He enters from the middle of the screen, so you should be fine.

Press buttons on the blue panel to your left to move between rooms.

IMPORTANT AS HECK: Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT EVER FORGET TO RECHARGE THE POWER FOR ALL FOUR OF THE ROOMS. Having the power go out puts you at risk of not being able to deal with Yortusin.

That should be all, as I will not be going over any of the in between night challenges. They are for you to figure out.

You can also go over to room 4, and hold-click while pressing CD+ while hovering over the right side Cross Cube to skip any night. Don’t use this unless you want to see in between night content. I understand if you don’t care about the main gameplay, and just want to see if anything else about the game is any good. But if you are going to cheat, at least try out the main gameplay. I put a lot of time and effort programming the main night gameplay, and it only starts getting difficult from Night 4 onwards. PLZ.

Some preview screenshots of how the hints system will LIKELY look in game. There's also a setting to disable the hints entirely, but they'll be enabled on a fresh save. (Or if the save-data Difficulty parameter is 0, which is the same as a fresh save.)
