Here's a completely and utterly useless Mario fact

There was an album made at around 1983 named ''Donkey Kong Goes Home'', basically 7 pretty bland songs that don't really have to do with the games

But there is one named... Jump Up

Interesting, isn't it


I am not saying that anyone in the Odyssey team actually remembered the album, this is obviously a coincidence, but I do find it amusing that it has a very similar name to Jump Up Superstar, which is also based on the '81 Donkey Kong

Also, it has some... Pretty interesting lore, such as Donkey Kong growing up and living in a zoo, Mario owning a pizza parlour instead of being a carpenter, all of this being in a place named Gamesville instead of New York, or Mario and DK knowing themselves from long ago, the reason why he was throwing barrels being him playing catch and apparently only 25 m is canon for whatever reason

Also this was Mario's first voice ever, it being by Larry Moran (Rest in Peace 1939-2017)
