As you know FWMod is back in the work but FWMod proved itself to be a challenging project to be completed only by two developers, we welcome you to join our team who share the same passion for FWMod

We Are Looking For

  • C/C++ developers Who have basic knowledge of DLL hijacking

  • C# developers Who know wpf or CLI/DLL development

  • possibly lua developers Who can adapt to any modding framework and changes

About The Project

chances are you know what's project is about, this is just for in case for new users!
FWMod is a powerful FNaF World Modding Engine It allows you to write mods in Lua, which are then executed by the game. This allows you to create custom game mechanics, characters, chips, and interactions. The modding API is designed to be friendly and easy to use, so you can focus on creating your mods without having to worry about the underlying game engine.

FWMod Planned To Support

  • Adding new characters including custom attacks (with lua), idle animation, attack animation

  • Replace ingame textures and animations

  • Modify game objects and values in real time

  • Create extensions to extend lua functionality

About the Roles

  • C/C++ developers would help in creating the core inner workings of FWMod preloading, loading animations, textures and such the format is quite basic as it would be preload.json file to mods, that would direct to folders that contain information about image hotspots, animation speed and what not

  • C# developers would help create both the GUI and CLI installer, also may help C/C++ developers on understanding C# code as some of the important structures for the core of FWMod may be written in C#

  • Lua developers would maintain current FWMod mods by testing or writing mods

great news, fwmod is now able to load custom images! at the moment it's a folder called preload, integrating it with mods should be a simple process!
