Hey!

Today I wanted to present a project I’m working on with friends, it’s called « Contre-jour » and it’s a fanzine about space! ✨

The illustration cover was made mostly by @ yokomadame (check her insta!)

Sooo first of all, what is a fanzine you may ask?

Well, in that case it’s a little magazine organized by a few people and artists can participate to it! Our fanzine will contain illustrations, comics, graphic design stuff and more!

Most of the time, it’s made by hand (printing and everything) and it’s supposed to be some sort of place where you can experiment!

Our fanzine is about space, the universe, science and exploration!

We are a team of 3 working on it right now (we founded an association called Breson), we made a first fanzine last year and Contre-jour is our second one and we’re currently looking for artists for the fanzine o/ ( the inscriptions start tomorrow)

It’s a HELL lot of work (I made all the graphic design of the project but I also manage all the administrative stuff and community management) so I’ll try to share some of it here but you can also check directly our Instagram (https://instagram.com/breson_fanzine?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA==)

Sometimes I like how it look like without any shadows, just flat coloring

It would save me a lot of time to do it in this style but the urge to add details is too strong (+I already did 60+ pages like this so it's a bit late to do these kind of changes )
