Hey Game Jolt, it's Tim! How'd you like my short and somewhat silly video?
This has been my first ever attempt at content creation as a game developer on the world wide web. I spent way too much time on recording this, but I'm not going to lie: I had FUN. While it might seem a bit random for me to post something like this here on Game Jolt, there's more to it than that!

Making video games is HARD. Making video games whilst also engaging with and building an audience on the internet to spread the word about said video games is EVEN HARDER! In other words: this stuff AIN'T EASY.
That's why I created this video, to get some practice! As a solo, introverted and perfectionistic indie game developer this stuff does NOT come natural to me. Recording myself and sharing content is a vulnerable place to be, but I do believe a certain level of vulnerability is vital for any creative to connect with an audience. I'd like to do more of this on Game Jolt. What do you think?

I'm currently in the early stages of development of my first person puzzle game about architecture and spatiality. There's a couple of teasers and design notes IN THE VIDEO. While it's too early to start sharing raw gameplay footage, I plan to eventually bring the game and my development blogs to Game Jolt, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. (stay tuned?)
I originally based this little video on the poll I sent out a couple weeks back asking what content you all would love to see more of. I'd like to share more of my process and personal life along the way. I ended up featuring all of the poll options though, for fun. In order of appearance you'll see:
1.) Clay - a hobby of mine
2.) Notes - a big pile of Imagine Lifetimes design notes
3.) Lego - the set I'm currently building in my spare time
4.) Unreal Engine 5 - a teaser preview of my upcoming game
5.) Drawing - a pencil drawing from my archives
6.) Whiteboard - design scribbles for my upcoming game
I hope you enjoyed some of the content within this post. Thanks for checking it out! Hit the follow button for more game-dev content to come! -Tim
