Rigged up Roofing to provide lighting for Custom buildings. I need a better solution though. Maybe define building area option, or make roofing only placed on walls/near other roof.
Maybe I should do Flooring instead? Ideally I'd have some way of the game detecting what counts as a "valid" house but I've no idea how I'd go about that with the current build options.
Or I could have a type of indoor floor that provides light. I have lights that require flooring to be placed, I could do the same with walls, but I cant stop light going through them if it's radial.
Maybe I could have it so when you place a bed it looks for nearby walls and checks a box inside them for floor and roof.
The way NPC buildings do it is just to use the foundation, but Customs don't have that.
Update: hmmmm maybe have roof and floor check for each other and turn lighting on the floor?
Could also do a floor light and have it spread to adjacent floor.
