The Ink Remains

I'm a slow guy, I take a long time to do the things that I care about. I make sure it's done as best as I can. I'm an anxious person as well. So as you can imagine, I really don't do well under pressure and deadlines. For my health, I'll keep my own pace.

Unity's next Long Term Support version introduces a lot of tools that makes a game developer's life less hard. I've experimented with it for a day and managed to do a damn good screen-space outline shader! #Unity #Shader #Outline #GameDev

Guys, I've done it. 100% #BATIM's achievements! My first fully completed game I guess, I even did the black & white challenge. All of it wasn't much hard, but it was long though. The QoL update sure helped. Other #Bendy games will def be more challenging.

I finished setting up the first version of the candle in a soup can. I made its behavior more realsitic than in #BATIM. Hope you like it :)

Remember me saying that? Sadly, I most likely won't be able to do it. Half-2022 is only days away and the game is not close to be ready. I can promise one thing tho: The Ink Remains, Chapter 1 “Still not free” will be released this year, finished or not.

I dual wielded sandwiches for the first time! I even got a visitor :)

I've done a fair bit more work, mostly on the player scripts, environment, some fixes, etc. But I also have implemented the foundation of object interactions and brought graphics parity (images are remake vs old version). Looks are subject to change. Cya!

I remade the game page header and now it looks better. I will probably remake the thumbnail too.

See this screenshot? It took a couple of attempts before getting a result that was worth talking about. Now it's been two years since my first attempt and my procedural generation system is at its 5th remaster. This time it's game worthy...

I'm remastering the code of the game and it doesn't come without stuff breaking lol... It can be funny sometimes

Trying to figure out a consistent artstyle that I'd like. So I've been drawing away on various shapes. Here's my first completed attempt! I'm keeping it simple so it's all done in #Blender, hand-drawn + procedural noises. What do you think about it?
