The reason the game is called "The End" is because after every escape, the player is brought back to the title screen, thinking they got to "the end," but then, the begin button appears again and their only option is to restart the game from the beginning, but with a twist. The code is still the same, but things have changed slightly. The end goal is to find the real escape to the place, as the door only serves as a way to say "I'm done in this instance of the room." Another thing to note is that the full game will have an inventory system, and you'll keep all items you retained in the last repeat of the room.
Right now the game is only a demo, which will become available as soon as I get the dev-log going. The demo includes the first instance of the room, which is the one where you need to find the code, and that's it. The inventory system is not implemented yet and the game does not repeat yet.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy "The End of the Demo," which is the official name for the demo. I'm working very hard on it and even though it's created on Scratch, a free coding website that uses blocks instead of actual code, it still takes a lot of time to make everything.
That's all I have to say, I'm Ethan, and I'll be seeing you later!
