I need your feedback and thoughts on something!

Website for managing/syncing references images/art for artists

Imagine you can upload all of your reference images (for example art you found that you liked a lot, and found it inspiring) that you have been collecting and putting in a random folder on your computer, to a website.

How would you like to organize files?

  1. Use folders structure to organize: just like on your computer, you'd have a folder for cool line art, cool colors, cool poses. Each image would be in one of the folders.

  2. Use tags to categorize images: you have no folders you don't have any hierachy. You have a tag and you add it to images. Images can have mutiple tags, therefore an image can have both cool line art and poses. You can filter by tags.

Which one sounds better? Which one feels more accessible and easy to use? Should I allow a combo of both? Currently, only a tag system is implemented: adding anything new would take time (and is worth considering if truly necessary)

Let me know what you think and I'll implement that :)

Any feedback is greatly appreciated, and if interested I csn invite you to the early release of the website for testing!

I hate captchas. The quicker you try to solve them to more likely you're flagged as a robot.

Also look, I am going to work on a portfolio with all my projects, their makings documented all in great details :)
