Ahem, I’ve been wanting to say this since Wednesday and Thursday but I didn’t get a chance to do so. Anywho, here’s some things I got to share.
Ok so, back in 2022 when I was a 17 year old, I had been drawing and making things in relations to my FNaF Fan-Game that’s Five Nights at Toothy’s, including the old design of Toothy that I used to call a ‘redesign’ back in 2022. And in that year, I was creative and inspired but all that withered away when I got to be 18 last year and 19 this year. Maybe it’s art block and though I did try to draw a bit of art here and there within last year and maybe earlier this year, I still lost interest and have too much stress to focus on making artwork. Besides that point, I was meaning to say that I created a bunch in 2022 that I didn’t even share the stuff I had besides the design of Toothy (the Happy Tree Friends character) I drew in 2022.
So with that, I’m telling ya’ll that I secretly had drawings of Petunia’s design that’s also from 2022 as none of the drawings in this post are new except that I recently saved the drawings from my ibisPaint app. Tbh, I don’t know what I was thinking back then when I drew the above screenshots of Petunia’s ‘would be’ design but after seeing that my views of what she should look like for the final game, it doesn’t even add up with how ugly her old scrapped design is. Like, why would I think Petunia wearing pink gloves, a purple shirt with a daisy on it, a multicolor skirt, and black slippers/shoes or ballerina shoes (as I thought and still think of Petunia as being the same as Ballora from FNaF SL) would look good when that kind of is an eyesore and stuff? I have no clue but whatever my mind process was in 2022 for Petunia’s design, it’s stupid.
And then it’s like, PETUNIA’S EYE COLOR IS TOO DULL. Seriously! I know that canon Petunia from Happy Tree Friends doesn’t have pink eyes (or from what her canon show design looks like with the black irises or ‘pupils’) but, as for my Alternate Universe of Happy Tree Friends that’s Toothy & Friends, I like to have Petunia with pink eyes instead of just y’know, black eyes. And it’s not like a pink, pink, instead her eyes is like supposed to be magenta if anything or fuchsia but the pinkish-shade for her eye color is too dull on her old design and it looks tacky. Plus, I drew Petunia’s eyes too derpy and I actually want to make Petunia be somewhat creepy or scary for Five Nights at Toothy’s instead of being cute and friendly.
By that statement, Petunia needs a newer design but I just wanted to show ya’ll that I hid the fact that Petunia was going to have a design made back in 2022 but that design is now outdated and this is just out in the public. However, all the artwork, the design of Petunia, and only the Alternate Universe version of Petunia that I created who’s from Happy Tree Friends belongs to me and not the actual character as Petunia and Happy Tree Friends belongs to MondoMedia, Ken Navarro, Ken Pontac, Warren Graff and all other original show makers of that cartoon. Basically, don’t steal or trace my artwork in the pictures, okay? Like, that stuff mine as just because I didn’t sign it (yet, I wouldn’t sign unfinished and old artwork anyway), does not mean you should take it and claim it as yours.
Other than that, let me know what you guys think of Petunia and her old design. Also, I’m going to make a gacha-related post in the Gacha Life community on just a gacha version of Petunia’s old design. So anybody who likes Gacha Life, just look out for that.
OH! I also can’t forget to show that each og drawing was supposed to still be in 2022 but I’ll include a comparison that their update dates was originally just within 2022 but changed to 2024 because I went in to save them to my camera roll.
Here, these are the pictures before I had went in to save them:
And here’s the pictures after I had went into them (like me editing but I didn’t do much) and saved them to my camera roll:
That’s all for the comparison. So uh, yeah. I think I’m done babbling for now. That’s what I mostly needed to express and send out to the internet on here. More FNaT posts are coming soon, so stay tuned.
