i found out that osu's scaling is abit strange because you'd first need to have a lower res receptor and a higher res receptor but the higher res receptor will only be used during gameplay and the lower res receptor will be used to scale the higher res receptor so that the higher res receptor could fit in the mania stage and if you didnt have the lower res receptor the higher res receptor would stretch out vertically making it look off
