I worked on ureworking the controls for Project Byte today and a maaybe few times during my break!
Might work a more on it today just because I want this basic framework to be done SOON!

Expirimenting with 3D menu system! This one will be made for a upcoming demo that will probally take a while!
This took HOURS of my free time to figure out, mostly because the current code REALLY STRUGGLES to rotate the characters..
Probally should fix that sometime, huh?? But for now: here is some early zipwire prototype!!
Trying to make some early level design for Project Byte!
I wanna start off with a more traditional/generic jungle stage before the game pulls the rug from below you and reveals its true colors!
Its my first proper stage design! Scary!!π¬
Sorry for the lack of posts, I felt it was better to only post when I actually make progress!
Had to rewrite the movement AGAIN to fix jumping!
Almost done now, just need to fix ground detection and polish it all up! Then the player controller is done!
The game can now detect nearby zipwires and highlight them! (Actual zipwires still have to programmed in!)
Great news!! I FINALLY got movement to work, and managed to get a little experience with O3DE's UI editor!! π₯³π₯³π₯³π₯³
