So I was recently added by some random person and I don’t get added a lot so I just accept it to be nice I said hi asked if I knew them and then I got off gj cuz I had family stuff and when I came back I had saw messages from them and this is how it went down:

I asked if it’s a scam then they tell me to download something completely ignoring my question at first and then they finally answer

I could already tell how this just wasn’t right by how they were typing.. they weren’t using correct punctuation and were saying “u” instead of “you” which if you are trying to get money or get someone money or sell something that’s not a very appropriate approach. I told them I don’t trust them hoping they’ll back off but they didn’t.

They kept trying to get me to give in and so I told them I’m a minor which is clearly said in my bio and I’m pretty sure I’ve said before and it’s honestly just pretty obvious by how I act and type most of the time in my posts and in group chats. After that I then go offline and leave them alone as I was out with family.

I later get a shout of a screenshot of someone’s conversation with the same person and I tell them how the same thing happened to me. So it’s not just me they have gone to it’s another person probably more.

As you can see they are asking basically the same things and they can also tell that it’s an obvious scam. You don’t have to believe me that’s fine I’m just here to try to help people out. So please if you see this person don’t add them don’t talk to them DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EVER HARASS THEM (sorry for all caps but sadly some people would do that) Just block and report it’s all you can do. We need to stay safe from people like that. Even if you don’t think it’s a scam you always gotta double check. Remember be smart my stars!
