When designing your game character, a lot is necessary in order to create the style, personality and appearance that you envisoned. Artistic details like shape, palette and poses are some of the techniques used to fortify your story.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

For our game, we decided to use traditional materials like watercolors to give it an unique and charming look!
